Today is ASH WEDNESDAY, commemorated by Catholics, and many other Christians, as the beginning of LENT, a time of prayer and fasting. This time is symbolic of Jesus' forty days in the desert, and leads the Christian to a fuller celebration of the Easter Mysteries...Christ's Last Supper, Passion, Death and Resurrection.
No matter your religious affiliation, or lack thereof, it's a great time to look inside our hearts and discover the things that we want to change.
And, after all, a prayerful man (in my opinion), is a sexy man!
A Blessed Lent!

So interesting that I found out what Ash Day is by a gay blog! The Orthodox people celebrate the Easter according to the Julian (old) calendar, and this year will be on May 5th. St. Valentine's Day has been well known in Greece during the last years and his relics are kept in a Roman-catholic church in the island of Lesvos.
ReplyDeleteThe last nude praying man is hot as hell!
Greetings from Greece.
